...Biblical education that can touch the world

But how are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:14-15

Our Foundation Principles

Green Bay Bible College is founded on two basic, unchangeable principles. All policies and decisions must meet the following criteria set by the college board:

Foundational Principle #1

Biblical Education

GBBC purposes to offer a sound Biblical education similar to a seminary education while keeping the work and study accessible and within the reach of a high school graduate as well as the long-time student. Textbooks, materials and teaching methods are geared toward this principle of depth of Biblical education.

Knowing God's Word is foundational to all ministry. He has promised His Word will not return void. In the book of Jeremiah we are told:

And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" And I said, "I see an almond branch." Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it."   Jeremiah 1:11-12

God is watching over His Word to perform it. Only when we know and use His Word are we in line with the work God is doing.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.   Hebrews 4:12

Foundational Principle #2

Affordable Education without Debt

The concept of borrowing money for a ministry education does not seem to be a wise principle for the Christian worker. Many students today graduate from colleges and universities heavily in debt, a situation that mandates certain ministry career decisions such as eliminating most missionary opportunities as the debt can take many years to repay. The founders of Green Bay Bible College established the cost of eStudy courses to be within the reach of a student who is willing to work or must work while completing the degree program. The goal is that each student graduates debt-free. Each class can even be paid for individually as one proceeds through the course of study.

It is GBBC's internal policy to avoid accumulating debt. Preparing ministers adequately trained to reach and disciple young people without accrued debt is more important than large buildings and elaborate campus structures. As a way of relieving some of the expense of the school, our professors and staff are missionaries and are supported through their own fund-raising efforts.
